Phantom Blade Zero all bosses in order: main and optional fights

How many bosses are in Phantom Blade Zero?

There is no single agreed number yet. Keengamer numbers 62 fights while saying the game has “at least 50 bosses”. PCGamesN and Game Rant arrive at similar but not identical lists. The difference comes from counting rules, not missing content:

Counting question Why totals move
Repeat encounters The Hunt, You Loong and Zuo Shang are fought more than once
The Gold-Masked One Five separate Long Pillar duels; some lists count one entry, others five
Paired fights Some lists treat two enemies fought together as one boss
Acolytes Four masked Acolytes, sometimes grouped into a single row

The order below follows Keengamer’s story order and main/optional labels, cross-checked against PCGamesN, Game Rant, Beebom and Gamersky. A reward appears only where several guides name the same item; “sources differ” means they do not.

Spoiler: Mirage Estate bosses

Main fights: Yuding, No. 12 Crescent Blade Puppet; Qiu Feng, the Crimson Boneblade; Lei Dang, the Order’s Envoy (Tiger Cannon). Optional: Mo Yuan, Leader of the Bastion of Mo, and the fifth Gold-Masked duel.

Entering Mirage Estate through the Green Serpent House is described as the point of no return for most missables.

Spoiler: Mount Soulrend and the final boss

Main fights: The Saw and the Crusher; Leng Tu, Herald of the Veil; Meng Hua, the Merciful Lady of the Blossom Veil, who ends the normal route. A further fight with Zuo Shang appears only when the true-ending requirements are complete.

Where should you go next?

For fights we have covered in depth, open the linked boss pages above. For gear from these rewards, compare the early weapons. If you are mid-route, the Crimson Forest guide connects the second region’s bosses to its gates.

Compiled November 3, 2026 from the linked launch guides. GameNavi has not played every fight; names follow the English release, and order within a region can vary with exploration.
