Arkaya in Monster Hunter Outlanders: Weapon, Class and Skills

Who is Arkaya in Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Arkaya carries a stalwart lance and builds a resource called Resolve by attacking steadily. Per the official description, some of his skills spend all stored Resolve on one powerful blow that also grants a large shield.

What does Arkaya’s kit focus on?

• Steady attacks build Resolve
• Some skills spend all Resolve for a heavy hit plus a large shield

These points come from the official character description. Exact skill names, numbers and upgrade paths will be added after we test Arkaya in the live game.

What does the Support class do?

Support Adventurers are the backbone of a party. Support Adventurers are paired with the Trillan, which uses sound to heal and support the squad during hunts. Every party can mix classes, so you don’t need four of the same weapon to cover all three roles.

How do you get Arkaya?

Named Adventurers are added to your roster through Recruitment, which uses Standard Contracts. Which recruitment pool Arkaya appears in, and the rates, will be confirmed when the game launches on October 29, 2026. Pre-registration gives free Standard Contracts — see the codes page.

Which other Adventurers use the Lance?

Ouyang Varen also uses the Lance. Your own Fated Adventurer can switch weapons freely. Compare every Adventurer on the Adventurer tier list.
