Madelyn in Monster Hunter Outlanders: Weapon, Class and Skills

Who is Madelyn in Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Madelyn uses a precise bow and supports her team with Spores. The official description says certain skills attach Spores to a target; detonating them damages the monster and boosts Madelyn and nearby allies.

What does Madelyn’s kit focus on?

• Attaches Spores to monsters
• Detonating Spores deals damage and buffs her and nearby allies

These points come from the official character description. Exact skill names, numbers and upgrade paths will be added after we test Madelyn in the live game.

What does the Support class do?

Support Adventurers are the backbone of a party. Support Adventurers are paired with the Trillan, which uses sound to heal and support the squad during hunts. Every party can mix classes, so you don’t need four of the same weapon to cover all three roles.

How do you get Madelyn?

Named Adventurers are added to your roster through Recruitment, which uses Standard Contracts. Which recruitment pool Madelyn appears in, and the rates, will be confirmed when the game launches on October 29, 2026. Pre-registration gives free Standard Contracts — see the codes page.

Which other Adventurers use the Bow?

Luka also uses the Bow. Your own Fated Adventurer can switch weapons freely. Compare every Adventurer on the Adventurer tier list.
