Who is Midori in Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Midori fights with a long sword hidden inside her shamisen and evades with graceful movements. Some of her skills fill her Spirit Gauge faster. At Tokyo Game Show the producers described her style as precise evasions and counterattacks that turn moments of danger into openings, with movements that evoke a musical performance.

What does the Assault class do?

Assault Adventurers are the damage dealers. The official site pairs Assault Adventurers with the Palico, which fights beside them to unleash explosive bursts of damage. Every party can mix classes, so you don’t need four of the same weapon to cover all three roles.

How do you get Midori?

Named Adventurers are added to your roster through Recruitment, which uses Standard Contracts. Which recruitment pool Midori appears in, and the rates, will be confirmed when the game launches on October 29, 2026. Pre-registration gives free Standard Contracts — see the codes page.

Which other Adventurers use the Long Sword?
